Sheedy block
Plymouth’s Clare Sheedy (42) tries to block this shot by Rochester’s Kennedy Jackson.
ROCHESTER - A tight game for three quarters turned on a huge fourth-quarter spurt as Rochester downed Plymouth, 48-38, in high school girls basketball Wednesday night.
The score was tied after both the second and third quarters and the Lady Pilgrims scored the first five points of the final frame, but Rochester’s press and offensive rebounding prowess led to an 11-0 run that Plymouth could not overcome. A 5-1 advantage from the foul line by the Lady Zebras in the last minute provided to the final margin.
