PLYMOUTH — It was deja-vu all over again for Plymouth fans as the Pilgrims repeated a bad first quarter for a second straight night, falling to Tippecanoe Valley by a final of 58-49.
Friday night against Mishawaka it was a disastrous first quarter that led to an NLC loss. Saturday night it was more of the same as the Vikings were able to jump to an 11-4 lead after eight minutes.
"It was a carbon copy," said Plymouth head coach Joel Grindle. "We've got to have a better start. They took it to us beginning and we had a horrible first quarter, again and again, it's the difference in the ball game. So again we have the exact same conversations we did last night."
