CULVER - It's been a long time since Plymouth and the Culver Academy have squared off in football action but Friday the two will match up for a chance at a sectional title.

GOSHEN - All good things must come to an end and that happened to the Plymouth Rockies boys soccer team’s historic season in the semifinal round of the Class 3A Goshen Regional Saturday morning, losing to Chesterton, 2-0.

BOURBON - It was another heartbreaker for Triton's Trojans as for the second week in a row they lost on the final possession of the game this time to Winamac by a 10-9 final.

BREMEN - It took Bremen’s offense a little while to get going, but the defense was there all night as the Lions defeated South Bend Riley, 37-7, on homecoming in a Northern Indiana Conference South Division contest at Bunge Field Friday night.

MISHAWAKA - The girls soccer teams from Plymouth and Culver Girls Academy were supposed to play last Thursday to end the regular season. Instead, the first meeting this year between the Marshall County rivals was Tuesday night in a Class 2A Sectional 19 friendly.

SOUTH BEND - The only thing colder than the temperature was Plymouth’s icy grip of the rock at Jackson Field Monday, in their 3-0 victory over Michigan City in the Boys Soccer Class 3A Sectional opener. 

INDIANAPOLIS - Heading into the defense of their state title of a year ago, the Argos Dragons (11-3-1) are the team to beat in Class 1A holding the top spot in the final regular-season Indiana Soccer Coaches Association poll for 2020.

PLYMOUTH - Plymouth's boys soccer team went 14-0-1 undefeated on the season after beating conference rivals Wawasee 8-2 at the Kindt Soccerplex.

One of the landmark events for high school sports is Senior Night. Usually, this involves the current senior athletes, but sometimes all senior participants for that season are recognized on the same night.

In a release from Plymouth High School Principal Jim Condon Tuesday he confirmed that members of Plymouth's coaching staff had tested positive for COVID-19.

PLYMOUTH - Plymouth-Glenn has become quite a rivalry in high school girls soccer over the past couple of years and with both teams off to great starts this season, Monday’s friendly between the two sectional foes had the makings of another good battle.

PLYMOUTH - A game that was already a rivalry contest took on a lot bigger significance as Argos #1 (class 1A) Dragons took on #18 ranked (class 3A) Plymouth at the Kindt Soccerplex. 

PLYMOUTH — There were a lot of new faces in new places for Plymouth's Rockies in their home opener Friday night but it was some recurring themes that led to a 28-14 loss.
