PLYMOUTH - With the cancellation of the boy's state basketball tournament on Thursday the IHSAA answered one lingering question on sports fans, parents and administrator's minds but one remains. What will be the effect on the spring sports seasons of the current efforts to curb COVID-19?

BOURBON — The semi-final round of the Triton boys basketball sectional is set as Triton made easy work of West Central 82-34 to set up a date with LaCrosse and Argos survived a unique Culver game plan to take a 30-18 win and set up a rematch with Oregon-Davis on Friday night.

BOURBON - Sectionals for high school boys basketball are still about a month away, but the two favorites in Class 1A Sectional 50 met at the Trojan Trench and if a postseason meeting goes anything like it did Thursday night, buckle up as Triton escaped with a 47-44 win over Argos.

CULVER — Culver Academy versus Mishawaka Marian has been one of the top high school boys basketball rivalries the past couple of years as the two programs have regularly been in the upper echelon of the Class 3A state rankings, as well as sectional foes.

SOUTH BEND - Culver Academy’s boys basketball team travels the state - and sometimes across the border - to find stiff competition. Saturday night’s challenge was a little bit closer to home when the Eagles traveled to South Bend Saint Joseph.

PLYMOUTH — It won't be one for the ages, but a win is a win as Plymouth's Pilgrims stayed unbeaten in NLC play with a 52-44 victory over Concord.

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth's Pilgrims continue to ride the roller coaster with a very up and down day of basketball, falling in game one of the First Source Bank Holiday Tournament by a 62-49 final to Knox then found a renewed energy in taking a solid 59-45 win over Whitko in the consolation matchup.
