INDIANAPOLIS – Coaches will always say they don't care about preseason polls. They will tell you the only one that matters is the final one, but the Indiana Football Coaches Association still puts out a pre-season poll and some local coaches programs have received some notice from their peers.

ARGOS – With the loss of a very talented senior class Argos soccer head coach Todd Vanderweele might have some concerns for the coming campaign but a solid core of talented returners have him breathing a little easier.

ARGOS - If it were a game of numbers Argos coach Joe Stone would have come out on top returning more seniors than he lost. But for this year's version of the Lady Dragons, it goes deeper than that.

CULVER - Today CMA basketball standout guard and Mr. Basketball candidate Trey Galloway announced on Instagram his verbal commitment and intention to be a part of Indiana University men's basketball's incoming class of 2020.

ARGOS — The North Central Soccer Association (NCSA) has announced the winner of the T. Edward Ummel Young Referee of the Year Award. Brooks Feldman, son of Jon and Jodi Feldman of Bremen, was selected for 2019, as the ninth winner of the award.

The LaVille girls tennis team held its annual awards recognition program recently. LaVille tennis will graduate Allison Gadacz and Charlet Kapke off a team that will return 10 for the 2020 season.

CULVER — For the second consecutive year, the Lady Pilgrim Tennis team took a regional crown to advance to semi-state play, that run came to an end Saturday afternoon at Culver Academy as the Lady Pilgrims fell to the Munster Mustangs 4-1.

PLYMOUTH - Plymouth's Pilgrims punched a ticket for the sectional final and avenged an earlier beating by taking an 11-0 win over Laporte. 

Due to the strong threat of thunderstorms later in the day, officials have decided to move the start time of the Plymouth sectional to Noon tomorrow.

PLYMOUTH — Tim Tremaine, a member of the 2019 Class of Plymouth High School, has decided to continue his education and baseball career at Manchester University.

WARSAW – Four individuals and one relay team will advance to the high school girls state track meet June 1 at Indiana University after placing in the top three at the Warsaw Regional Tuesday night.

CULVER — Plymouth's Lady Pilgrims will head for the tennis semi-state as they defeated NLC foe Warsaw in the finals of the regional at Culver Academy.

Plymouth’s Claudia Marohn had a jump of 5’2” to place in the top three at regional competition in Warsaw and qualify for the State Finals on Saturday June 1 at Indiana University. She was the only Plymouth athlete to advance.

WILMINGTON, DE — CMA's #1 Prep Lacrosse team battled the #3 Hill Academy (Ont.) for the Victory Event Series' National Prep Lacrosse Championship.
