Community Calendar

• The Daughters of the American Revolution, Tippecanoe River-Wythougan Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. at the Marshall County Museum Meeting Room, Plymouth. The program will be “ Journey from Auschwitz to Forgiveness” by guest speaker Stephanie Hall. Members, prospective members and interested guests are invited to attend. • Grief/Share Support Group will meet from 6:30-8 p.m. at the LifePlex in Plymouth. Call 574-248-2765 for information.
• Heartland class from 7-9 p.m. - SIP & PAINT - They will be painting an abstract bottle design using acrylic paint. $30 if paid before Sept. 4; $35 after. You may bring your own wine; light refreshments will be served. (Adults) Jon Miller, instructor.
• Scissor Snips (Snowflakes and More) class will meet at 10 a.m. today at The Life Enrichment Center/Marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth. Monty Peden will instruct you on the art of paper cutting and making snowflakes. 1st hour: folding, basic cutting and snowflake designs. 2nd hour: explore more complicated designs, letterings, silhouettes, and creative shapes. Call The Center at 574-936-9904 to register for the class. This class is free.
• Plymouth Optimist Club “Friend of Youth” meets from 7 - 8 a.m. at the Ponderosa Steak House. You are invited to join us for breakfast and informative speakers. The Optimist Club focuses on the youth of our community, and other community projects.
• Bremen Historic Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
