Walkerton woman arrested for meth; had child in vehicle

On Monday, Aug. 23 around 1:17 a.m. Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call of a vehicle sitting in the middle of the roadway on Queen Road north of U.S. 6 outside of Walkerton. When Officer Ayala with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene he located Rebeca Stetham of Walkerton in the vehicle slumped over on the wheel. There was also a small child located in the vehicle. Rebeca was taken into custody and the child was placed in the care of Marshall County DCS. Rebeca was later booked and lodged into the Marshall County Jail for: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Neglect of a Dependent. Rebeca was given a court date on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m. and was given a bond of $1,505.
