Plymouth woman arrested for arson

On Friday, July 9 at approximately 2 a.m., Marshall County officers were dispatched to the area of 9019 Suter Road, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church, for a vehicle driving into the building and something being on fire. At the time of the dispatch, it was said that a vehicle had hit the side of the church, causing damage and a female subject was throwing rocks at the building. It appeared that this unknown liquid was poured all over and someone had used a fire source, or lighter, to attempt to start a fire at the entrance to the front door. The vehicle had caused damage to the building and bushes to the landscape.

On Monday, July 12, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department obtained information as a person of interest in the investigation. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department obtained a search warrant and executed the search warrant for a residence located within GateWood Trailer Park, located at 2403 N. Michigan Road, Plymouth. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested Lindsey R. Allman, age 43, and placed her into the Marshall County Jail for arson and leaving the scene of an accident. A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
