Plymouth man held for Chicago Police warrant

LAPAZ — On Friday, Nov. 13, at 9:34 p.m., Marshall County Police located a male subject that had an active felony warrant out of Chicago, IL. The officer made contact with the male subject at the Speedway Gas Station in LaPaz and he was taken into custody. During the arrest, marijuana  wax was located. Devin M. Sanchez, 26, of Plymouth, was taken to the Marshall County jail for possession of marijuana and to be held on his warrant for Chicago Police.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed ant that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
