Neal charged with driving while intoxicated

On Saturday, Feb. 20, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call on an impaired driver that later ran off into the median on U.S. 31. It was later discovered that the driver, Antwaan Neal, 19, of South Bend, was operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was arrested. A cash bond was set in the amount of $1,500.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
