Marshall County Announces New Smartphone App

Marshall County is excited to announce the release of its new smartphone application. This app will serve as a new way to connect with Marshall County residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone. 

The App was originally created with 1st Responders and Law Enforcement in mind to give them immediate access to community resources to help them and the public on such matters of substance abuse resources, suicide prevention, grief counseling. The Mobile App was paid for with a grant from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. 

The App will provide County road conditions and construction, travel advisories and locations of the County Mobile Medical Unit. 

The Mobile App will continue to grow as additional resources and information will be added, said Ward Byers, Director of Community Corrections. My office is excited about the possibilities this App will provide to the residents of Marshall County. 

The development of the App came as a collaborative effort between Community Corrections and Clyde Avery, Marshall County Emergency Management, Marshall County Health Department and Marshall County Highway Department.  

The Marshall County mobile app was developed by OCV, LLC. The app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few clicks, users can access features including:
