Leesburg woman arrested for OWI and possession

On Wednesday, Nov.9 around 6:29 p.m. Officer Richard Ayala with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive in Plymouth. The driver, Heather Egger of Leesburg, was found to be under the influence of drugs and the officer began a DUI investigation. Heather was transported to the Plymouth hospital for a chemical test and was given jail clearance. Heater was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked and lodged for: Operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-controlled substance, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, and possession of marijuana. Egger was given a court date and a bond of $1,500.
