ISDH conducts COVID-19 testing at Knox High School

KNOX — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is testing Hoosiers 12 and older at Knox High School from Tuesday, July 14 through Saturday, July 18 and from Tuesday, July 21 through Saturday, July 25.

The site will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. (CT) on those days, with the exception of Saturday, July 18 when testing will conclude at 3 p.m. for KHS Graduation. It is located near door 5 of the High School, across from the tennis courts. Results will be provided within 72 hours.

This COVID-19 viral test is available to all community members, with those under 18 requiring parental consent. The test being conducted is not an antibody test.

Individuals are required to park and exit their vehicles. ISDH employees are situated at two stations. At the first station, you will be required to provide some basic information such as your name, date of birth and phone number. At the second station, the test will be conducted. The swab is inserted into each nostril. The areas are frequently sanitized and PPE is worn by all ISDH employees.
