Hoosier educators eligible for COVID-19 vaccine through federal program

While state officials announced they will continue to vaccinate for the novel coronavirus using the age-based approach, a federal program will allow Hoosier educators to sign up to receive their shots. 

During the weekly state update on Wednesday, March 3, Gov. Holcomb announced that certain vaccines will be allocated to ensure that school employees are able to get their doses soon. 

He explained, “We received word from the federal government that they were going to provide doses through the Federal Pharmacy Program for teachers to become prioritized across the country, obviously including here in the State of Indiana.”
