Fort Wayne man arrested on Saturday

On Saturday, Sept. 26 at approximately 8:55 a.m., Marshall County Officers responded to US 30 and Iris for an unknown injury accident. After an investigation, Lenny Underwood, 36, of Fort Wayne was arrested fro operating a vehicle while intoxicated with an ACE of .15 or more (a misdemeanor) and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering (level 6 felony). Underwood was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on the above charges and was given a cash bond of $1,500. Marshall County Officers were assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
