According to a press release issued by the Plymouth Police Department (PPD), Andrew Espich, age 53, was arrested on Sunday, January 22 at 12:10 a.m.
Officer Vinson was conducting a DUI patrol when he observed a white passenger car disregard the red traffic light at the intersection of Michigan St. and Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
A traffic stop was initiated. During the investigation it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired beyond legal limits.
Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also located within the vehicle.
Espich was arrested and book in the Marshall County Jail for 1) OVWI and 2) Possession of Marijuana.
