Drive in to HealthLinc’s annual community health fair this Friday

KNOX — Each year, the local HealthLinc in Knox hosts a back-to-school health fair in conjunction with National Health Center Week.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s celebration will be a drive-thru event. The HealthLinc clinic located at 104 E Culver Rd. and the Community Health Fair will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on on Friday, July 24.

Families will drive their vehicle through the parking lot and stop at various stations to pick up goodies and information from vendors. One of the stops includes a backpack station where families coming to the health fair will receive a backpack with school and health supplies (while supplies last) to help them get the school year off to a great start.

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana's Mobile Food Pantry will also be in attendance and will provide pre-boxed-up packages of food for every family.

Additionally, HealthLinc will have appointments available for immunizations, well-child checkups, and sports physicals, which are provided at no cost for uninsured children.

For families with appointments and those without vehicles, there will be a walk-up location where they can receive everything they would get in the drive thru. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, call 574-772-7400.
