Argos hosting Octoberfest Saturday

The Town of Argos continues to provide fun opportunities for the community to connect.
Just as their summer TGIF Argos events wrapped up, the Town of Argos started promoting their first annual Octoberfest. “The town is growing” states Mark VanderWeele, Argos Economic Development Director. “As we continue to expand and look forward, events like Octoberfest will also continue to grow.”
The event will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 3 starting at 5 p.m. The festival brings together a beer & wine garden, live music, movie in the park, great food, vendors, and several fun and free activities for the family to enjoy.
Val Harley, who serves on the park board states “I’m thrilled the Argos Parks Department is hosting this event. It is important in a close-knit town like Argos that we continue to create opportunities to spend time with each other and share in positive experiences. We can do that safely even within COVID guidelines.”
Additional information can be found at the park’s Facebook page: @Argos-Parks-Recreation and online at www.townofargos.com.
