Culver's town hall will be available around the clock as a warming center this Thursday (Feb. 19) and Friday, in light of frigid temperatures in the area, which also have closed area schools.

The town made the announcement Thursday, noting that during office hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., people may enter via the Clerk-Treasurer's office. If entry is needed after hours, the police door (one door to the north) should be used, and the officer on duty contacted via the phone in the lobby.

Residents are also encouraged to check on elderly or shut in neighbors during the bone-chilling weather, which is seeing temperatures just below and above zero, with wind chills dipping as low as -20 degrees.
