Pro Football Playoff Previews and Predictions

Next Week’s Matchups:

Dallas @ Green Bay

What to watch for:

Dallas will travel to Green Bay to face Aaron Rodgers and their dynamic offense. Green Bay has not lost at Lambeau Field yet this year. Dallas matches up well with Green Bay because they have a strong running game that can keep the clock running and keep the ball out of Green Bay’s hands. The weather might get the best out of Dallas as it is likely to be extremely cold. Green Bay’s offense will be looking to feast on a weak Dallas secondary.

Pick: Green Bay 31-24

Carolina @ Seattle

What to watch for:

Seattle might be the only team hotter than Carolina right now. Carolina comes in riding a 5 game win streak, while Seattle has put together 6 straight wins. Both teams deploy strong defenses and mobile quarterbacks. The difference here might be Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch who has a knack for showing up in big moments.

Pick: Seattle 20-14

Indianapolis @ Denver

What to watch for:

This is a match up everyone wants to see as Peyton Manning squares off against his former team and successor Andrew Luck. Many have said that Luck is the next Peyton Manning. It’s hard not to agree as Luck possesses the same passion and knowledge of the game we have seen from Peyton for years. On the other hand, Peyton Manning hasn’t seemed right down the stretch and Denver has still found ways to win behind the surprising emergence of running back CJ Anderson.

Pick: Indianapolis 30-27

Baltimore @ New England

What to watch for:

Tom Brady has New England poised for a Super Bowl run. They look to be just as strong as some of their more recent Super Bowl teams. However, they run into a dangerous 6 seed in Baltimore. Joe Flacco has lead Baltimore to a 10-4 playoff record since entering the league in 2008. Out of those wins, 7 have come on the road. It was just 2 seasons ago that Flacco took a 10-6 team into New England and won convincingly 28-13 on their path to being Super Bowl Champions. Last time, New England was without the services of All Pro Tight End Rob Gronkowski. Containing Gronk will be crucial this time around.

Pick: New England 28-13
