Plymouth to remain under travel advisory Saturday

Staff Report

Plymouth will remain under a watch-level travel advisory through Saturday, Mayor Mark Senter said Friday evening
Through an executive order, Senter issued on Wednesday a watch-level travel advisory for the city for Thursday. It will now be extended a third day.
The advisory limits travel to only essential trips, such as during an emergency or to and from work.
The Yellow River in Plymouth crested at about 17.65 feet at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, below forecasts as high as 18 feet earlier in the week, according to the National Weather Service.
The waterway won’t drop below the 13-foot flood stage until about 11 p.m. Monday, according to the NWS.
