After suffering their first loss of the season earlier in the week at Oregon-Davis, Glenn's Lady Falcons nearly lost again, but were able to hold on and defeat visiting Bremen, 38-35, on Friday night.
Glenn struggled mightily with Bremen's two-three zone, missing 11-of-13 three-pointers and was fortunate to survive the Lions' upset bid.
The Falcons (15-1 overall, 5-0 in the Northern State Conference) got a game-high 15 points from Loren Vukovits and Kyannah Stull tallied a dozen points.
The Lions (6-9, 2-3) were paced by Micaela Box’s 12 points.
The two teams will meet again in the opening round of next week's Bi-County Tournament. They'll clash at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn.
