• See the Universe at Potawatomi Wildlife Park. Last astronomy night of 2018. The Warsaw Astronomical Society will be conducting it’s last public observing night for the year. Hosted by Potawatomi Wildlife Park, one hour after dark at the park observing field. Observing is pending clear skies. Call ahead if partly cloudy. Plan to attend and discover the Universe for yourself. Society members will be in attendance to share the night sky through telescopes of all sizes. Objects will include various constellations, and array of near and deep sky objects. Potawatomi Wildlife Park is located at 16998 State Road 331, Tippecanoe.
• Marshall County Republicans Open House from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at 117 Water St., Plymouth. Refreshments will be served.
• Tyner IOOF Fish Fry from 4-7 p.m. sit down or carry out. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children 6-10 at the Tyner Community Building.
• Join The PHS Athletic Boosters from 9am- noon, with their Lincoln Driven To-Give, test drive event at the Rockpile (behind the PHS). Oliver Ford Lincoln with have many brand new Lincolns to test-drive to help the Boosters earn $$.Must have a valid drivers license to test drive. Look for the tent and all the new vehicles.
• First Pentecostal Church of God, 509 S. Roosevelt Rd., Knox is having a Revival Oct. 3-14 at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Evangelist Brother and Sister Coffee will be the guest speakers.
• Maxinkuckee Odd Fellows Pancakes and Sausage/Biscuits and Gravy at Lodge #373 from 6 a.m. to noon, 15003 18th B Rd. and Pine Rd. All you can eat $8 adults and $6 children.
• Heartland Artists Gallery in downtown Plymouth will host an Open House for their 30th Annual Juried Regional Art Exhibit from 1-4 p.m. Awards will be given to the artists at 3 p.m. Join us Saturday for art conversation, meet the artists, refreshing drinks, light appetizers and desserts and an art tour. Artists from other states submit their art in a variety of media to be judged at this event as well as our members and local artists. The Gallery walls will be displaying and selling new art works in the month of October. Join us with a heart for art.
