• Today is the deadline to signup for the one day bus trip offered by The Marshall County Council on Aging, 1305 W Harrison St., Plymouth. The trip is Thursday, June 29 . The group will be going to Linton’s Enchanted Gardens where there will be shopping in the retail departments, viewing the nursery stock, quilt garden, petting zoo, and gardens and ponds. A gourmet box lunch will be served in the tropical room. Next, the group will make a stop at Coppes Commons in Nappanee to explore the shops, bakery, and ice cream shop. On the way home we will stop at the Amish grocery store Rentown, where many unique and delicious items can be purchased. Stop by the Council on Aging or call 574-936-9904 for more information.

• Heartland Camera Club meets at 7 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center, Plymouth. Learn about the settings and features of your camera. Bring photos to share. Group outings throughout the year to various places for photo shoots.
• Have you ever wanted to paint a red barn? Well, you’ll have two chances to do that at Bremen Public Library in June, under direction of Artist Susie Schaetzle, owner of Create-UR-Canvas. “Red Round” will be the featured painting today. Visit Bremen Public Library’s Facebook page to see which barn you would like best. The project fee of $18 includes the canvas, the use of an easel, paint and brushes, along with step-by-step instructions. Even begins at 6 p.m. in the lower level meeting room of the library and are expected to conclude by 7:30. Ages 10 and up. Class size is limited. Payment is required at time of registration.
