Community Calendar

• Plymouth High School Theatre Dept. presents “The Spell of Sleeping Beauty” at 2 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Doors open 30 min. prior to show starting.
• A free Thanksgiving choir concert featuring the talented Chancel Choirs of the First United Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church and The Plymouth Church of the Brethren. Everyone is welcome to attend this community-wide Thanksgiving coral service beginning at 4 p.m. hosted by the First United Methodist Church situated at 400 North Michigan Street. This event is sponsored by the Marshall County Ministerial Association.
• St. Michael’s School Rummage Sale at the school gym from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Fill a bag for $1.
• American Red Cross Blood Drive between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at Fleet Gymnasium on the Culver Academy campus. Walk-ins welcome, but you can reserve a time on using sponsor code “culmil” or I’d be happy to schedule you.
• Girl Scout Troop 30404 is hosting a hygiene item drive for the Heminger House. They are collecting toiletry items to show how much the community cares and how much they appreciate the Heminger House for helping the women and children that are abused daily. Come to Centennial Park at the Freyman Shelter from 2-4 p.m. to donate hygiene products for the Heminger House to show support to the ones in need. If you can’t attend today there is a drop off box at the Plymouth Public Library where you can donate your hygiene items until Nov. 12. The hygiene items they are in need of most are: feminine products, new hair brushes, women’s deodorant, body lotion, hair conditioner, makeup, razors and shaving cream, Q-tips, hair products, and toilet paper.
