Starting Monday, the crossing guard at the intersection of Baltimore and Plymouth streets will be moving to the intersection of Indiana Street and Plymouth, according to the Bremen Police Department.
The BPD wants students who walk to BEMS from the north to start crossing Plymouth at Indiana and Marshall streets.
The police department wants students to cross South Street at Indiana.
BPD also wants students to enter BEMS on the building’s northeast side.
“We feel this will enhance safety, reduce congestion and increase efficiency for those dropping off and picking up their children by vehicle,” Police Chief Matt Hassel said in a news release.
