PLYMOUTH — Louise E. Holm, 81, 14315 Lawrence Lake Drive, Plymouth, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at her home.
Louise was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Chicago, Ill., to Julius and Anna (Lennick) Schiefelbein. Louise had been a faithful member of the Calvary Lutheran Church, in Plymouth, since 1945. Jack Holm and Louise Schiefelbein were married in the Calvary Lutheran Church June 29, 1947; together they enjoyed 63 wonderful years of marriage life.
Louise was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She worked at Bosworth’s, in Plymouth, for 10 years, and was the co-owner of Plymouth L.P. Gas.
Louise and Jack took many wonderful trips, with her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sharon. Her family was the greatest joy of her life and many loving and special memories were made, spending precious time together. Louise was a great cook and enjoyed having her family and friends around her table, always serving them a delicious homemade meal.
Louise is survived by her husband, Jack Holm; their daughter, Debra (Don) Buchtel of Plymouth; her granddaughters, Elizabeth (Brent) Beissler of Lafayette, and Emily (Mike) Kershner of Plymouth; her great-grandchildren, William Kershner and Lydia Kershner, both of Plymouth and Baby Beissler of Lafayette, due in October; her brother, Robert (Sharon) Schiefelbein of Plymouth; and many special nieces and nephews.
