BREMEN — Bremen senior forward Jenna Pfeiffer as the girls District I Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/ Pacers-Fever Player of the Week for her performances during a pair of Lady Lions wins over Wawasee and Jimtown last week.
Pfeiffer averaged 29.5 points and nine rebounds over the two games. She opened the week with 35 points and 10 rebounds in a 59-55 win over Wawasee Tuesday and followed with 24 points and eight rebounds in a 59-24 triumph over Jimtown Thursday that clinched the Lions a share of the Northern State Conference crown. She connected on a combined 22 of 33 from the field and 15 of 18 on free throws in the wins.
Pfeiffer was joined by five other Players of the Week in two-time winners Gary Harris of Hamilton Southeastern and Kyle Stidom of Greenwood as well as Elkhart Memorial senior Todd Johnson, Sheridan senior Jaidlin Delph and Eastern (Pekin) senior Jocelyn Mousty in the awards program sponsored by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
This is the fourth season for the Pacers-Fever Players of the Week program coordinated through the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. Winners are chosen each week from each of the IHSAA’s three districts.
