LAKEVILLE — With little returning experience and few natural guards, turnovers have been a bugaboo for Argos this season.
Meanwhile, LaVille has been steadily developing its switching man-to-man defense in the three years since Michael Edison has taken over the program.
It was a recipe for a rout as Lancer defenders created 30 turnovers by the Dragons and ran out to a huge 31-8 first quarter lead for an eventual 62- 31 victory over visiting Argos Tuesday at LaVille.
“We’ve just got to get better and tougher mentally and physically under pressure like that,” said Argos head boys basketball coach Doug Snyder. “Obviously anybody who sees us is going to full-court press us, and the three teams that have have caused us problems and we’re just going to have to keep working on it.
