ARGOS — David L. Duff, 75, of Argos died March 18, 2013 at 8:43 a.m. at his daughter’s residence in Rochester following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 20, 1937 in Argos to Earl and Bernice (Finney) Duff. He lived all of his life in the Argos community.
On June 29, 1957 in Argos, he married Juanita (Stevens) Duff; together they have shared the last 55 years.
In 1958 David and Juanita were called into the ministry and he continued to minister and attend church faithfully until his passing. He also worked at Bremen Castings for 35 years and retired in 2000.
He attended and was a member of the Plymouth Church of Jesus Christ, and was a graduate of Argos High School class of 1955.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Duff of Argos; children – David Duff Jr. and wife Kim of Argos; Elizabeth Granning and husband John of Rochester; James Duff and wife Ellen of Warsaw; Naomi Ball and husband Andrew of Rochester; and Stephen Duff and wife Sue of Bourbon; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers – Dean Duff and wife Faye of Bourbon; and Don Duff of Bremen.
He left behind a great legacy and instilled a love for the Lord in the lives of his family and all those he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother – James Duff.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday March 21, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, and one hour prior to the funeral services at the church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday March 22, 2013 at the Plymouth Church of Jesus Christ, 11181 12th Road, Plymouth, officiated by Rev. Olan Howard and Rev. Lloyd Howard.
Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
