OD moves to 9-1
Class A No. 2 Oregon-Davis jumped out to a 41-6 halftime lead over visiting West Central and never looked back in a 62-20 rout at home Friday night.
Ashley Campbell scored 19 and Alicia McIntosh finished with 17 for the Lady Cats. Jesse Avarone scored nine, Haley Collings finished with eight, and Taylor Kranenburg scored six as 12 different OD players saw the floor in the win.
West Central was led by Alicia Kruger’s six points.
The Bobcats improved to 9-1 with the win, while West Central slid to 5-5.

8th grade boys basketball
Lincoln wins 3 straight
The Lincoln Junior High eighth grade boys basketball team recently finished up a 3-0 stretch with a thrilling 38-36 victory over LaPorte Kessling Thursday night.
Jake Young led the way with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five steals. John Gerard had eight points, and Ryan Carmichael added seven points to the effort.
The Red Storm came into Thursday’s wins on the heels of wins over Knox, 41-18 and LaPorte Boston, 36-21.
Carmichael led the Red Storm with 12 points, Nick Felke chipped in 10, and Travis Owen added six in the win over Knox.
In the win over LaPorte Boston, Felke led Lincoln with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor. He also added four assists and five steals to the effort. At one point in the second half Felke was outscoring the whole Boston team, 20-14.
The Red Storm move to 14-1 with the three wins.
