PLYMOUTH — Larry Lee Benner, age 67, of Plymouth passed away at 1:10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Catherine Kasper Life Care Center, in Donaldson.
Larry was born Aug. 13, 1945, in Lafayette, to Paul A. and Lois L. (Hughes) Benner. Larry had lived in the Plymouth area for the past 30 years. He retired from Mead-West Vaco as their sales executive. He was a member of the following: Plymouth Kilwinning Masonic Lodge #149 and was Worshipful Master of the Lodge, Association member of the Emerald Society Irish American Police Association, York Rite, Order of Eastern Star, and High Priest of the Masonic Lodge. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving as a Captain, during the Vietnam War. He was also member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Plymouth.
Larry is survived by his son, Sean Benner of Plymouth; his brother, Lawrence (Carol) Benner of Oakwood Hills, Ill.; and his companion, Vickie Benner. Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Benner; and his sisters, Norma Heater and Janetann Dierdorf.
