Plymouth competes in NLC dual at Wawasee
Plymouth’s boys swimming and diving team fell in a Northern Lakes Conference match-up at Wawasee Thursday night, 139-43.
Jack Holloway had bests in the individual medley and breaststroke, C.C. Bastardo had a best time in the 50 free and best score in diving, Isaac Rosentreter had a best time in the 100 free, and Chris Whitley recorded a best in the breaststroke.

Lady Pilgrims swim in Syracuse
The Plymouth girls swimming and diving team competed at Wawasee last night.
The Lady Pilgrims were unable to capture any wins at the Northern Lakes Conference dual meet, but several girls had best times, including Alison McGrory in the 200 free and 100 back, Katie Berg in the 50 free, Mariah Tepper as the leadoff in the 200 free relay, Brianna Hayes in the breaststroke and Hope Barrow in the leadoff spot of the 400 free relay.

Lady Dragons win
The Argos girls bowling team beat South Bend Riley 16.5-3.5.
Abby Cohagan had the high game for Argos in game one with a 174, and Jamie Ewing rolled a 191 followed by Jina Ewing’s 190 in game two.
The girls move just north of .500 at 4-3 on the season.
The Lady Dragons’ next match is Wednesday at Quick’s Lanes in Plymouth against New Prairie.

Argos falls to Plymouth
Plymouth’s boys bowling team handed Argos a 19-1 defeat.
Juan Fajardo was the Dragons’ lone point-winner with a 142 in game one after rolling a 91 in game one.
Argos remains winless at 0-6. The Dragons’ next match is Saturday at Quick’s Lanes in Plymouth against South Bend Clay.

6th grade boys basketball
Bremen teams split
Bremen’s sixth grade boys basketball teams split a pair of games at home versus New Prairie, winning the A game 44-30 and falling 15-13 in the B game.
All nine player of the A team got in the scoring column in a solid team performance. Nate Mullen led the way with 15 points, and Justin Zumbrun added 12 points. Evan Manges scored six points.
The B game came down to the wire. Kain Hammon led the Lions with 12 of his team’s 13 points.
Men’s college basketball
Chargers fall to No. 7 Danville
The Ancilla College men’s basketball fell to No. 7-ranked Danville Area Community College, 98-60.
The Chargers competed early but succumbed to Danville’s athleticism as the game wore on.
Rosey Green led Ancilla in scoring with 22 points. Demetrius Adams finished with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Jacob Frazier added 10 points and six rebounds.
The loss drops the Chargers’ record to 6-3 on the regular season. They close out the first part of their schedule with a home game against Illinois Valley Community College tonight at 7 p.m.
