GROVERTOWN — E. Joan Brown, 81, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at her residence.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Brown of Chesterton and Linda Brown of Plymouth; sons: John Brown of Plymouth, David Brown of Pittsboro, Ind. and Aaron Brown of Grovertown; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise Hobbs of Salem, Ind. and Linda Johns of Indianapolis.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 28 at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday Oct. 29 at the funeral chapel.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall-Starke Development Center, Plymouth.

NAPPANEE — Sharon K. Pate, 64, of Nappanee, died at 2:04 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband Charles Sr.; son Charles (Noelle) Pate Jr. of Nappanee; daughter, Jamie (Ryan) Whitmyer of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Marianne (Russell) Ervin of Nappanee, Pauline Adamson of Marion, and Carol (Jerry) Lanning of Bremen; stepbrothers, Ronald Tobias of Syracuse and Bruce Tobias of Nappanee; and a sister-in-law, Carol Jean (Lloyd) Hershberger of Bremen.
Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery.
