Culver area students sought permission from local businesses last month to place cans for a collection of funds to support a needy family over the holidays.
These will be collected when students lead community caroling as part of the Christmas festivities this Friday, December 7.
Following the 6:30 p.m. tree lighting and Santa appearance at the depot, carolers will visit area businesses and restaurants, many of which will be open for special late hours in honor of the occasion.
Elizabeth’s Garden and Flea Market Chic, Civvies, and Diva will offer free treats and champagne to shoppers. Corndance and Evil Czech Brewery will offer hot chocolate and cider. Culver Coffee Co. and Brockey Insurance on Lake Shore Drive are offerinng free wine, apps, live entertainment, and carriage rides taking shoppers downtown until 7:30. Diva and Fisher and Co. are also open late hours, while restaurants Cafe Max, Papas, and Lakehouse Grille will also welcome visitors.View more articles in:
