William ‘Bill’ Gene Stahl

PLYMOUTH — William “Bill” Gene Stahl, 58, died Nov. 20, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. at his residence in Plymouth, following a two-month illness.
He was born June 26, 1954 in Rensselaer to Early Edward and Pansy Violet (Sellers) Stahl. He lived in Plymouth the past 15 years, coming from Calumet City, Ill. Bill worked as a supervisor for U.S. Steel in East Chicago and has worked at Ferro in Plymouth for the last 12 years. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #27 in Plymouth. He is survived by a son, David Stahl and his fiance Jennifer Jesses of DeMotte, brother Ronald Stahl and Sandy of Plymouth, and twin brother James Stahl and Rhoda of Plymouth, sisters Shirley Heddens of Rochester, Karen Obenchain and Ronald of Plymouth, and Sherri Ludwig of Plymouth.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeremy, David, and Aiden, and three stepgrandchildren, Steven, Devon, and Gavin.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob, Chuck, Harold, and Larry Stahl and sisters Rosemary Boyd, Phyllis Townsel, and Norma Stahl.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Chaplain Tom Padberg of the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care will officiate. Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to the William G. Stahl Memorial Fund, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, IN 46501.
