LAPAZ — Lucinda (Cindy) Wingett was born Sept. 20, 1907 and passed away Nov. 10, 2012 at home of natural causes surrounded by her loving family.
Lucinda Bope Wingett was born Sept. 20, 1907 in Marshall County, the daughter of Charles and Clara Klapp Bope.
Aug. 6, 1925, Cindy married Russell Wingett in Plymouth. To this union they had two children Donald Wingett and JoAnn (Wingett) Reed and her niece Willadean (Bope) Katschke who they raised after the young death of Lucinda’s sister, Florence.
Survivors include son Donald Wingett, niece Willadean (Bope) Katschke, grandchildren Nancy (Joe) Nagy, Lon (Kim) Wingett, Dick (Cindy) Reed and Mike (Dee) Reed, three great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and 15 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.” God bless her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Russell, daughter JoAnn (Dick) Reed. Brothers John, William, Edward, Charles and Raymond Bope, Sister Susie (Edwin) Pugh and Florence Bope.
Friends may visit with Lucinda’s family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
