NorthWood’s Homecoming week (Sept. 23-28) has been celebrated by scheduled student council events such as hall decorating, kickball, mud volleyball and tug-of-war games. Thursday, they will continue with a bonfire at 8 p.m. where classes will compete to be the loudest and most imaginative supporters of the Black Crunch. Friday, at the end of the school day, the NorthWood faculty will present another spell-binding homecoming pep session and during halftime of the home football game versus the Elkhart Memorial Chargers (game starts at 7:30 p.m.) at Andrew’s Field, the senior king and queen will be crowned. Following the game will be the Homecoming dance.
