KNOX — Diane M. Squibb, 63, of Knox, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in Golden Living Center, Knox.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Ray Squibb; two daughters, Dawn Wilkinson of Fishers, and Anna Squibb of Ft. Wayne; two sons, Michael Bannon of Kokomo and Joel Squibb of Lebanon, and four grandchildren.

PLYMOUTH — Catharine “Katie” Lee, 88, a former resident of Plymouth, died at 10:40 a.m. Monday at Heritage Health in Peru, Ill.
Katie was born in Akron, the daughter of Burr and Mary “Beam” Day. Katie moved to Plymouth in 1931 where she attended Lincoln High School.
Sept. 8, 1943 in Plymouth, Katie married Virgil Lee. Virgil died Oct.12, 1982.
She was employed by Bosworth’s Bridal Shop in Plymouth for 25 years.

PLYMOUTH — Betty Jean (Wilson) Heiden, 71, passed away in Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth, at 3:55 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.
Born in Plymouth April 8, 1940, Betty was the daughter of Donald S. and Mary C. (Richard) Splix.
A lifetime Plymouth resident, she was raised in the Roman Catholic faith and graduated from Plymouth High School.Â
Betty was first married to William D. Wilson. She then married Carl F. Heiden June 25, 1983 in Plymouth. Carl died Nov. 26, 1996.
Betty, a homemaker, was also a teacher’s aide at Washington School.

NAPPANEE — James L. Slabaugh, 63, of 402 Northwood Circle, Nappanee, died at 1:02 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at Lakeland Loving Care Center, Milford after an extended illness.
Surviving are his daughter, Tammy Jo (Terry Witcher) Francis, Bristol; his mother, June L. Slabaugh, Nappanee; four grandchildren; and brothers, Russell Dean (Peggy) Slabaugh, Lake Zurich, Ill., Steve Slabaugh, Nappanee, and Michael (Shirley) Slabaugh, Hindman, Ky.

ETNA GREEN — Harold “Har” Feldman, 83, of Etna Green, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 1:50 p.m. at Bremen Health Care Center after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a son, Carl (Debra) Feldman of Etna Green; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Summit Chapel Cemetery at Bourbon.

PLYMOUTH — Larry G. Harrell, 52, of 1st Road, Plymouth, passed away at 7:08 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, following a brief illness.Â
Larry was born Dec. 12, 1959, in Plymouth, to Frank and Patricia (Kamiski) Harrell. Larry had been a lifetime resident of the Plymouth area. He was the owner of Larry’s Body Shop and was a true craftsman at his job of repairing, painting, and doing body work on automobiles.

PLYMOUTH — Gerald James Thomas, 100, passed away at 1:06 a.m. in Pilgrim Manor Friday morning, Feb. 3, 2012.
Born in Plymouth April 17, 1911, Gerald was the son of William Arthur and Viola Belle Berger Thomas.
A lifetime resident of Marshall County, Gerald graduated from Bourbon High School with the class of 1931. In 1940, he joined the Army Air Force and served his country through WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1945.
