MARSHALL COUNTY — The National Weather Service has kept the wind chill warning issued yesterday in place until 11 a.m. this morning. Bitterly cold conditions continue, followed by snow accumulations later this weekend.
High pressure centered over Michigan overnight has allowed temperatures to fall below zero over much of the area with calm winds. As the high moves east this morning, winds will gradually increase, causing wind chills to fall to around 10 degrees below zero. With the expected temperature rise, the wind chill advisory is not expected to continue.
