In the movie “A Christmas Story,” 9-year-old Ralphie just wants “an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time,” and throughout this classic tale, Ralphie’s friend Flick takes “a double dog dare” to see if his tongue would really stick to a flagpole.
Was it curiosity to see if a tongue really does stick to a flagpole? Or just a re-enactment ... here, Eleanor Miller’s grandsons Robert Howland and Jimmy Miller have a little film fun and re-enact the famous scene.
