Winter storm warning in place

MARSHALL COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of Northern Indiana that goes into effect beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Snow is expected to begin to fall Tuesday afternoon/evening and intensify overnight into Wednesday morning. Accumulation totals of between 6-10 in. or more in some areas is possible. In addition, North winds will pick up causing blowing and drifting of snow and reduced visibility.

A "Watch Level" travel advisory remains in place for the unincorporated areas of Marshall County.
