PLYMOUTH — Wilma Faye Wagoner-Renforth, 88, of Plymouth went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, at 3 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Plymouth.
Wilma was born Nov. 5, 1924, in the La Paz area, to Sherman Sr. and Thelma Wright Emmons. She grew up with eight brothers and one sister. Wilma graduated from La Paz High School in the class of 1942. On Nov. 5, 1944, she married Paul F. Wagoner Jr., of Plymouth, who preceded her in death, June 1, 1992.
On Oct. 8, 2002, Wilma and Curtis Renforth were married.
Wilma was a dedicated Christian and was an active member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, in Donaldson. She sang with the Plymouth Community Blueberry Festival Choir, was a member of the Camelot Women’s Golf League, and a Women’s Bowling League. After their children were raised, Wilma and Paul found their dream home on Pretty Lake, where she loved spending time, with her family.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Larry) Riddle of Lakeville; her sons, Jerry Paul Wagoner of Fort Wayne and Jeffery Scott Wagoner of Madison; her daughter-in-law, Sue Wagoner Geist; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dennis Emmons Sr. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Wagoner Jr.; her sons, David George Wagoner (2001) and Gary Alan Wagoner (1972); and her grandson, Austin.
