What's happening this weekend in Marshall County?

Early holiday shoppers, rejoice! This weekend is packed full of Christmas-themed shopping opportunities. See below for more information.

• The Lakeville United Methodist Church, 610 N. Michigan St., will be hosting a bazaar and bake sale from 2 to 7 p.m Thursday. Crafts, blankets, and Christmas items will be available. If you have any questions please call 574-784-8873.

• Earthworks, 9815 Union Road, Plymouth (near the Ancilla College campus) is hosting a whole house Christmas sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Each holiday-decorated room in the Earthworks house will be filled with items for sale. You’ll find rummage sale goodies (recycled, polished, ready for giving), hand crafted items, Earthworks breads, oils, jellies, and sweet treats. Lovely selection of quilted items. All items are very low priced, with most being under $5. Complimentary tea and cookies for shoppers. Proceeds from the sale support Earthworks’ programs for children and adults. • Community Church of God, U.S. 31 just north of U.S. 6. in LaPaz, will be holding a Christmas open house for Avon and Gold Canyon Candles from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• A turkey giveaway will be held at The Auto Park, Plymouth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for families that could use a little assistance with Thanksgiving dinner. One thousand turkeys and quantities are limited – strict policy of one per family.
