Autumn Leed will be performing Saturday at the Plymouth Eagles. See information at left for details on this and other weekend events.

Holiday-themed events:
• Heartland Artists Gallery is having a holiday gift shop and bazaar beginning this weekend until Dec. 23. Enter the raffle for your chance to win a decorated Christmas tree. For more information, contact the gallery at 936-9515.
• The town of Bremen is holding Homespun Holidays Nov. 10, 11, and 12. Many businesses will offer special deals, samples, and contests to celebrate the beginning of holiday season. See your paper for a list of participating businesses!

One last garage sale:
• St. Michael School and Church will be having their bi-annual Home and School Association (HASA) Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The sale will be held in the church basement. Call the school or church with questions, 574-936-4329 or 574-936-4935.

Celebrate National Gaming Day:
• Bremen Public Library and hundreds of libraries across the country will join the American Library Association (ALA) in celebrating the popularity and educational, recreational, and social value of video and board games for National Gaming Day Saturday. In the morning, from 10 to 11 a.m., board games are planned in the children’s department. In the afternoon, from 2 to 4 p.m. Wii games will be played in the meeting room. Enjoy a night of music:
The Autumn Leed band will again perform at the Plymouth Eagles Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Leed said that the band will be playing some songs from her new, yet-to-be-released CD. The show will also feature a special guest, Tommy Howard.
“We (will) do a great variety of classics, not just country music,” said Leed of the show. “There’s something for everybody.”
Other members of the band are: Greg Meisner—drummer and band leader, Matthew McFarland—lead guitarist and vocals, and Micah Terry—bass player.

Being a WW2 vet. I attend every year the services at the Courthouse
Traffic is so noisy at that time of the day,you have a very hard time hearing the speakers at the service, couldnt hear Taps.
I have ask several people why cant this memorial be moved to a more quiet place.
Again I ask why not move it like our new park downtown,I know it is County also.,think people of Marshall Co.would not care.
Lets get it done & lets keep politics out of it. John Davis
