Weekend events in Marshall County
Maxinkuckee Players summer of 2012 musical "Crazy for You", a romantic comedy filled with Gershwin music, will be at the Culver Community High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The annual rummage sale at St. Michael Church basement sponsored by Marshall County Right to Life will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
Fun at the park
Come join the Plymouth Park Department for Coca-Cola Family Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Young Amphitheater. There will be free hot dogs, popcorn, and Coca-Cola. Jetta and the Jellybeans will be performing at 11 a.m. and then the Plymouth Fire Department will be there for some water fun. Wash for a cause
The Bremen High School football team will be hosting a fundraiser car wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bremen Ford car lot. Vehicles will be hand washed and dried for a donation to benefit the athletic program.
Day of Hope Benefit will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Heartland, 705 E. Jefferson St., Plymouth. This is a benefit for Hope Banghart who is a 15-year-old Plymouth High School student who was just diagnosed with AML Leukemia and will spend the next five to six months at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis doing chemo and a bone marrow transplant. Games, inflatables, food, crafts, etc. will be planned to raise money for medical bills and for the family. Please contact Chris Miller at 574-780-3225 for more information.

3 in 1 event
The Plymouth Eagles will host "Battle of the Benefits" with a day of festivities at the club, 404 W. LaPorte St. Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The event will raise money for three charities, Camp Riley, Rupert’s Kids, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana. Included will be a motorcycle ride, a moonwalk, face painting, and kid’s carnival games, dinner, and three bands throughout the day and evening.
