Week 2 of football season under way

August 27, 2010

As Week 2 of the 2010 football season gets underway, several area teams are looking to carry momentum forward with them.
John Glenn claimed a lopsided reprisal victory over former sectional rival North Judson at home last week and hopes to open its Northern State Conference schedule with a win over perennial NSC powerhouse Jimtown today.
"As a conference opener with Jimtown, it means a lot to start off with this game with them," said Glenn head coach Justin Bogunia. "We believe that this is a conference championship-type game with them. We need to be at the top of our game because if not we might lose the opportunity to win the conference."
