WEATHER UPDATE: Winter snow advisory until 1 a.m. Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 1 a.m. Wednesday. Rain may mix with sleet then change to snow by mid afternoon. Snow will continue until midnight, with a total of 6 inches predicted.
Hazardous travel conditions are likely for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Heavy wet snow and windy conditions this evening may lead to scattered power outages. Roads may be icy, and caution while traveling is advised.
