Wakarusa School play shows kids life without technology

April 23, 2014

WAKARUSA — The young people of our present day society don't remember ever having lived their lives without some element of electronic gadgetry becoming involved. For them, it would be difficult to fathom the possibility of a world "off the grid."
So the fourth and fifth grade students of Wakarusa Elementary will offer a hilariously chaotic interpretation of such a dilemma with their upcoming musical "A Kid's Life." The production will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 and will take place on the auditorium stage of NorthWood High School. Admission is free of charge, and guests will want to arrive early to ensure the best seating options. Parents of 5th grade students should plan to sit nearer to the left side of the audience, while 4th grade families might wish to seek out seats closer to the right side.
