BOURBON — Virginia Klinger, 82, who was a resident of Life Care Center Rochester, formerly of Bourbon, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 7:10 a.m.
Mrs. Klinger was born to George Underly and Anna Bell Cottrell Underly on March 22, 1930. She was married to Clyde Lancaster on November 17, 1951 and he proceeded in death on August 1, 1992, she then married Egon Klinger on October 7, 1998 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2010.
She is survived by her two children; Cheryl Buckles of Bourbon, Clyde Lancaster of Morristown, Tenn. and step-son Harland Lancaster of Valparaiso. She was further blessed with six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a sister Lucelle Britton of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia DeRycker and four brothers; Don, Kenneth, Dale and Jack Underly.
Virginia retired as a nurse in April of 1992, and enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and caring for other people. She was a graduate of South Bend School Corporation in 1948.
In honoring Mrs. Klinger’s wishes, there will not be any visitation or funeral services.
