Mayor issues Declaration of Disaster Emergency |

Mayor Mark Senter issued the following statement this afternoon. PLYMOUTH — Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Plymouth, Indiana, and in accordance with Indiana Code 10-14-3-29, I hereby declare the City of Plymouth is now experiencing a Disaster Emergency caused by flooding of the Yellow River. This declaration shall now activate the response and recovery aspects of all applicable local and inter-jurisdictional emergency plans; and the furnishing of aid and assistance under the relevant disaster emergency plans is hereby authorized. Furthermore, this declaration shall be given prompt and general publicity, and shall forthwith be filed in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Plymouth, Indiana.
