The pre-school class at Kids Are His Day Care made bird feeders and placed them on the tree that they unofficially adopted several months ago. The children have followed the seasonal cycles of the tree since August
When it snowed, several of the children shared their concern that the birds that they had watched in the tree might be getting hungry. Under the direction of head teacher Carol Anders, they then planned the feeder activity. Anita Belt, director, places the feeder, as Chae Burkholder, caregiver assists.
